Tuition

Passing on the joy of music is something which Charlotte has been doing for 20 years and feels very passionate about. She believes that everyone can enjoy learning a musical instrument and it is something which is good for human well-being.

​

Charlotte offers tuition in Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Recorder & Saxophone. Music theory is covered within all lessons.

Performing

​

Charlotte loves performing and does so as often as possible in different settings. She also arranges concerts and performance opportunities throughout the year for her students.

​

Exams

 

Charlotte follows Trinity College London examinations.

Instruments

Purchasing your first instrument is very exciting and there are many different brands available.

It is highly recommended to look into rental before purchasing, especially for the younger student.
Rental schemes are available at many music shops such as 'Woodwind & Reed'.

Ensembles

In 2006 the 'Loddon Cluster Orchestra' was formed by Charlotte & former teacher David Hook. Now know as 'Hoot 'n' Toot' the group is run by Charlotte & colleague Lauren Talford.

Aiming to give young musicians the opportunity to play with others the group enjoy playing arrangements such as 'Shake it Off', 'Run' and 'Star Wars'. This group is open to musicians who play flute, Clarinet or Saxophone from beginner standard up to around grade 4.

In 2008 the senior group 'Huff 'n' Puff' was founded by Charlotte & Lauren.

This group is for players of around a grade 3 ability upwards and plays publicly as much as possible. The group have played in venues such as The Norwich Assembly House, Sprowston Manor & Notcutts garden centre as well as a few weddings and many Christmas fairs!
